 Beautiful flowers
View half way up Hugo Peak.
Dense foliage--note the lack of concrete!
Solo hike to the top of Hugo Peak
My favorite vine maple on the trail.
Trillium

After half a day of subbing in the special education room, I escaped to the woods of Pack Forest. I busted up the hill, reaching the peak in less than 45 minutes. I never knew how fast I could summit. because every time I hike this trail, I'm with the swim team and we always have to stop repeatedly to rest. It felt good to challenge myself. I'm finding it hard to fill my time since finishing the first year at University of Puget Sound, Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. In fact, I've been on two hikes with the dog and one solo (mentioned above.) I've watched X-Files, Supernatural, Mulan, Atlantis, and lots of episodes of House.

Just so nice to be outside, no studying to be done, fresh air, sweat and nature.

Last day of Spring Semester, 5/7/14

Fall Semester, 2013
Can't believe we finally made it! Year one is finished, only 2 more to go for DPT school at UPS. I promise to be more diligent about blogging. I sort of got swallowed up by school, studying, driving to Tacoma daily, family and occasionally sleeping. I'm so proud of our entire class for succeeding on this very first milestone. Now, time to play and recover and NOT study (well, at least not tonight.)
